WARNING: Perform these instructions at your own risk. GoFastLoudly.com is not responsible for any injuries or consequences resulting from the use of our muffler or the directions for installing. Use caution, some parts will be hot to the touch. These mufflers and exhaust systems are designed for off-road and race applications. They are not EPA or CARB certified. Use at your own risk.

This is a sample of an installation instruction for a GFL muffler on a Hyosung GT250. Each model of muffler and exhaust system is different and specific installation instructions are included with each order.

Step one: When the muffler is cool to the touch, remove the stock muffler and any connected support bracing. Also unscrew the small screw(s) on the outside of the GFL muffler and remove the inner "dogbone".

Step two: Install the GFL "dogbone" by bolting it to the stock exhaust pipe on the bike (where the old muffler was bolted). Use the stainless bolts included and be sure to insert any crush washers or gaskets as necessary. The GFL "dogbone" should slip right over the stock exhaust pipe and fit to the exhaust pipe flange.

Step three: Slide the GFL exterior pipe over the GFL "dogbone". Line up the mounting holes of the exterior pipe with the corresponding holes on the GFL "dogbone" and secure them together using the included finishing bolts. On the dogbone - there are lines painted in glow-in-the-dark paint to help you find the holes on the dogbone.

Smile and enjoy the new sound. And laugh at the guys who spent twice as much as you did.

Dont forget to attach the included GoFastLoudly decal to your bike (not to the muffler) and show the world who you support!

WARNING: - any tampering or altering of the GFL "dogbone", baffling, or exterior portions of the muffler will invalidate any possible return or refund.

This exhaust system is patent pending so any replication or design copying will result in federal criminal charges and public humiliation.

It isn't a PERFORMANCE PART if you can't prove the "performance" part!

Do I need to re-jet the carbs when I install my new GFL Muffler?

According to our dyno results, the answer is NO. Re-jetting may be performed if you so desire, but it is not necessary and will not harm the motor if it is not done. You can simply bolt on the GFL Muffler and ride away.

Is it difficult to install a GFL muffler?

Not at all. You will need a Phillips Head screwdriver, a few common Allen wrenchs, and a 8mm wrench or socket. Installation should only take about 15 minutes once the stock muffler is removed.

Why are GFL Mufflers so inexpensive?

We simply cut out the middleman in the production process. We assemble and build our mufflers in-house, and perform our own marketing and sales, so we can keep costs as low as possible. We also order our materials in quantity so we can still provide the best mufflers at the cheapest prices.

Why is there no GFL Muffler for my motorcycle?

We just haven't had an opportunity to develop and test one for your specific bike. We have an open invitation to contact us and ask us to design one, based on your bike. If we accept the idea, and we can use your stock bike for our development and dyno testing, we will issue the first production muffler to you... for FREE. Email us for more information about this service. GoFastLoudly@gmail.com

When I first install my GFL muffler - there is white smoke coming out of the muffler? Is it ok?

Yes. The white smoke is the exhaust burning off a residue from the muffler packing material.

Why does the outer pipe have 2 holes on the top?

The hole nearest to the centerof the pipe is for the mounting screw. It attaches the outer pipe to the dogbone baffle. The hole nearest to the end of the pipe is for powdercoating reasons. Since the dogbone is an independant part of the exhaust, the outer pipe is simply for heat shielding and better appearance. The extra hole does not affect the operation. In newer designs, the second hole has been eliminated.

What do you mean "...GFL mufflers are engineered for the motorcycles"?

GFL mufflers are specifically designed for each model of motorcycle; not a general style of motorcycle which will require the customer to modify their bike for the use of the aftermarket exhaust system.
